A gathering place for moms in Upstate South Carolina
Hello Spartanburg Moms!
I just joined and am looking forward to sharing and getting some great ideas from everyone about our community.
My husband owns a mattress store on McCravy Drive that sells Serta. He is giving anyone on this site an additional 10% discount just for mentioning the site! They sell brand new Serta's at 50-70% off retail..and he works by appointment to fit customer's schedule...so anytime that works for you..works for them!

Hey everyone, I am so glad I joined this site. I wanted to let all of you know of a great summer camp that I came across the other day. I am a big Wofford supporter, and one of their former players is putting on a camp in Spartanburg! I just signed up my ten year old son who is very excited! The dates of the camp are July 9-13 at Spartanburg Day School. Registration is very easy. Just go on noahdahlman42.com to sign up your son or daughter! I read that all camp counselors will be Wofford…Continue

Hey everyone! We are looking to find a good babysitter for my 16 month old. We are a little nervous about leaving him with someone we don't know, but would like to find someone to get to know. Someone who is available for an occasional date night and during the week (for when I have an appointment, etc). We also have dogs, so they would need to be comfortable with them as well. I would love to find someone through another mom's referral before having to pay to use a site like sittercity. If…Continue
I'm new to Spartanburg Moms so I thought I'd write a post to introduce myself. My name is Andrea and I live with my 3 kids in Whitmire. My daughter, Kourtney, is 18 and my two sons, Alex and Nick, are 8 and almost 3. I'm in a relationship with a wonderful man, Joe and I'm happier in this relationship than in any other relationship I've ever been. It's a healthy relationship.
I'm a full time student at Piedmont Tech, getting my Associates of Arts. I also own a crochet shop. If you have…Continue

Have you seen the stickers that you can put on any onesie for every month of your babies first year? They are so adorable & affordable. You don't have to buy a new onesie every month and not be able to reuse it. Just peel the sticker off the paper, place it on your little ones onesie and start snapping the camera. You will not have to remember or write on the back of every picture how old your new little baby…Continue

I have a Scentsy order going in this week if you would like to order something. Feel free to e-mail me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
I have never been one for scented candles or room sprays, but when I went to a Scentsy party I was pleasantly surprised at how much I liked the fragrances and the warmers. The Warmer of the Month for June is pictured below and called Star Spangled-very patriotic! The Fragrance of the Month is Peach ala Mode. …Continue
A few weeks ago, I noticed my 7yo son was having some urinary issues; dark urine to be specific. I first thought he must be a litle dehydrated so I did my best to increase his liquid intake. Despite that, there was still a problem and eventually I noticed a pinkish-red color. We immediately went to our family doctor who did blood work and a urine culture, which showed "a LOT of blood" according to the nurse. The blood work was all normal, so we spent another 2 weeks hydrating. Another…Continue

There is still time to support the Boiling Springs Library as part of the Del Taco Kick Off to Summer promotion.
The restaurant (located at 1800 Boiling Springs Rd) is collecting new and gently used books to donate to the library. In addition, the restaurant will be donating 10 cents from every Crispy Chicken Taco sold to benefit the Friends of the Spartanburg County Public Libraries' efforts to support the Boiling Springs Library and their Summer Reading Program. Stall-ing is difficult with little kids. Nope - I'm not referring to delaying an answer or even a treat. I'm talking about the difficulty of taking a young child to the use the restroom while away from home.
I am new to this...can anyone help me with my page?
I enjoy spending time with my hubby and kids. The little ones grow so fast, so cherish every moment. I have a side job of making tutus, hairbows, pacifier clips, flip flops, etc.... My newest endeavor is photography! It is amazing what stories an image can tell.
